John McCain, you're no Maverick and you're certainly not the original. In fact the original Mavericks are so disgusted with you, at least two of them say they'll shoot. . . . the TV if they see your face on it again.
The Real Mavericks in fact are Liberals with affiliations going back to FDR and the New Deal, not to George Bush and the shady deal.
But don't take my word for it:
The original maverick, eh? Just paint "straight talk express" on your bus, and some of these buffoons assume you're telling them the truth. Look how they repeat phrases and words without any hint of originality: "under the bus," "in the tank," and now and most juvenile of all, "scary." It's scary how everything is scary these days. The overuse of this word infantilizes anything one has to say from there on out, no?

And you're right - they're talking to infants and infants are easily scared.
I like it! Watching the last debate on CNN, there was a live audience meter at the bottom of the screen, and every time the word “maverick” came up, the meter dipped below zero. Yet the lamebrain McCain campaign STILL doesn’t get it. If they can’t even run a decent campaign, how can they run the country! On this point alone, they deserve to lose.
ReplyDeleteThat's an excellent point. The high profile Republicans who have indicated support for Obama have praised the way he's run the campaign and say it shows his executive and leadership ability.
