Fellow Swash Zoner and honorary cephalopod, Matt Osborne, has been named one of sixteen winners of a scholarship to attend the 2010 Netroots Nation Convention in Las Vegas (announcement here). The competition and scholarship is sponsored by the Daily Kos.
No one deserves it more.
ReplyDeleteHooray for Matt!!!!!! WooHoo!!!!!
ReplyDeleteKnock 'em dead in Vegas but remember, we will be waiting here for a full report and none of that "what happens in Vegas" BS! :)
I claim name-dropping rights! Too cool, Matt!
ReplyDeleteWOOT!!!
ReplyDeleteThat's such great news. I will expect some awesome blog posts out of this event.
Speaking of: anyone think the mainstream media will cover Netroots Nation with the same degree of fascination as it did the Tea Party convention in Nashville back in February?
For once in my life I voted for a winner. A well deserved scholarship. I don't think you need any advice on how to have fun in Vegas. Maybe you'll be there at the same time the Tea Party meets.
ReplyDeleteFantastic! Congratulations to Matt, who richly deserves the win.
ReplyDeleteYay Matt! Well done!
ReplyDeleteWell I never did like Vegas and probably wouldn't have gone if I had won this - not that I'm jealous or anything ;-)
ReplyDeleteCongratulations, Matt! A well deserved honor.
ReplyDeleteThanks to everyone for your help, BTW! And yes, I know how to have fun anywhere that there's another progressive.
ReplyDeleteIt strikes me that I'm going to be forced to drag out some links from my coverage last year.
Congratulations, Matt. Enjoy Vegas!
