Bloggingdino, these visualizations afford me an emotional escape when I am too demoralized to say anything else. I hope these tiny critters, shown here larger than life, are not overly offended in being compared with small-minded humans.
Hell, in Florida we don't need no damn microscopes and it's the bugs who have to worry about stepping on us.
Tried to watch Avatar last night - close to being one of the worst, and least imaginative movies I ever saw and of course an obnoxiously crude, heavy handed allegorical melodrama. One again, these photos, take right here on earth, show that life forms on other planets aren't going to look like blue humans with pointy ears or speak some language humans can reproduce.
Later today, I got an ear full from the above fleas, flies, moths and spiders. It seems they were outraged by my having given them the names of Republican senators ... and were most vocal in their protestations. My humble apologies to the crunch bunch.

Well, as a fan of macrophotography, I'd say those photos are impressive. There's a whole nother "little" world to be seen in such images, no?
