Yes, more argument by stereotype. Portraying Democrats in general as unsuccessful and lazy and greedy for public support is an old, old game. They used it during the great Depression, trying to blame it on the laziness of the American worker, flaunting fake success stories by Horatio Alger to "prove" it.
ReplyDeleteOf course the very wealthy who pay no taxes are "job creators" even though it's really not valid and Magazines like Newsweek just entertained my with an editorial saying we needed more of an aristocratic class since they sometimes are philanthropists.
Just look at all the charitable things the British Royalty do. What a mistake that revolution was! Long live King Koch and his court!
I watched them all and am still a little teary-eyed. My family WAS that 47% - even to the point of needing food stamps once for a little while. My parents have now returned to that 47% because they are retired and living off social security.

And I am HOPING that the release of this video and his inability to have a clue about the struggles that anyone has faced will keep this election pushed into Obama's hands.
