ReplyDeleteIt wouldn't matter if he does except to make us feel better. For Obama haters it doesn't matter what Mitt does or says or is. He's perceived to be a member of the group Americans traditionally identify with. A horse's ass of a different color as it were.
Obama has to be what they need him to be and so anything that fits the stereotype they've constructed over the years will be believed, needs to be believed and is believed no matter how much the facts interfere.
While I'm disappointed and dismayed, none of us should be surprised that the racial bigotry has reared it's ugly head in earnest. They have had four years of encouragement from the right to undermine our democratic process and just amp up the ignorance and malice.
