Just this afternoon I questioned a FB "friend's" bullshit meme which stated that Obama had made it illegal for military personnel to say "Merry Christmas", and that Trump was warning liberals to leave Christians alone... Posted a snopes.com link to prove Obama had never done such a thing in the first place. Another "friend" of my "friend" commented that I should "Get real. He's evil." as if THAT was all one needed to know about President Obama. How do you reach people who live deep inside Bullshit Mountain?

ReplyDeleteWould that we had the money and stamina to put together something like Judicial Watch to hound them day and night and keep them tied up in court for 4 years,, to filibuster and obfuscate and shout them down. But we don't. Soon all this will seem normal and who will remember that Trump drained the swamp and filled it back up with more toxic creatures and contaminated water than it ever had before.
ReplyDeleteI read yesterday that the public just loves his fake "deal" with Carrier and ignores that it's part of a plan to cut American wages drastically and disembowel the unions, the Minimum Wage, overtime pay and all the things it took over a hundred years of sufering to achieve.

My dad, who was a Navy pilot in WW II spends a good part of the day cursing Trump and his party. It may be what keeps him going. Maybe it's a blessing that so many of the people who actually did risk their lives to preserve the USA and a good part of the world didn't live to see this monster become president.
