Don't miss the point of the infamous "dossier" accusing Trump of, amongst other things, paying Russian women to pee on him. It's Karma.
Plausible and even not-so-plausible accusations are always true enough to demand special investigators and committees and prosecutors. There are so many anecdotes and stories and insinuations about secret alliances and deals and money-laundering and bailouts involving Trump and Russian oligarchs that a hundred buckets of piss are irrelevant. His reptilian hissing and spitting and midnight fits only make him look more guilty even if you missed awareness of his admission of enjoying sex crimes and the long list of accusations thereof.
Listen -- I've had my fill of "Benghazi, Benghazi" and "Lock her up." It's time to walk Trump through the same gantlet. Let him spend years defending himself against a daily flood of new accusations, repeated libels and slanders -- and who gives a damn if it's the whole truth, half a truth or depravity. Let loose the prosecutors! Lock him up!
With any luck impeachment and senate conviction is on the horizon. Me, if Trump were on fire and I was passing by I'd pee on him.

This Golden Showers controversy reminds me of how Richard Nixon sabotaged the Paris Peace Talks during Election Year 1968. Then President Lyndon Johnson learned that Richard Nixon had dispatched an aide to persuade the South Vietnam delegation that they would get a better deal under Nixon than under Johnson. Of course, Johnson was faced with a dilemma: Spill the beans on Nixon, or withhold the report from the public. Johnson chose the latter to avoid any appearance or partisan accusation that he was trying to influence an election. What Nixon did was clearly treason, but Johnson chose to place his trust in the democratic process. History records more war casualties during the Nixon years than during the Johnson years. And remember Nixon's so-called "secret plan" to end the war? From that day forward, I learned that anything "secret" should be considered the most dishonest form of demagoguery.
ReplyDeleteNixon certainly had his faults. Paranoia top among them. But Trump's faults by far exceeds Nixon's flaws in my view.

ReplyDeleteI'm shocked and truly appalled. He seemed like such a nice family man. Still, one cannot help but notice that he doesn't sleep with Melania very often.
When it comes time for the first SOTU address next year, we will all miss GWB. At least he took his role as president seriously. In his own mind, he did try to be the president of every citizen. I still remember the tax rebate. I could sure use one this year.
It's not that Trump begrudges you the rebate, it's just you're probably short a billion or so to qualify.
