Times square terrorism

By Captain Fogg

The big question today is: how long will it take the media to patch together a reason to blame the car bomb that didn't go off in Times Square today on President Obama? I've already had e-mails to the effect that, because the Coast Guard chose, as a cost cutting method, to turn off the obsolete LORAN-C coastal navigation system last February, our "enemies" are now sure to attack us.

The rural right is going to blame it on Obama, who as they know favors the use of the police and FBI to capture terrorists instead of the Armed forces using lots of 9 billion dollar bombers -- just like the unmanly socialist wimp he is. Never mind that it works.

Of course the Pakistani Taliban has already claimed responsibility, but it's already been proved that Obama's college education was financed by Pakistani agents who knew he'd be president someday. He might just as well admit the whole thing.

Another question that's been on my mind is whether or not the two latest attempts to blow stuff up were intentionally defective. After all the real objective is to bleed us dry and turn us against each other and that's just what is happening. Give the Nigerian kid just enough powder to blow his Nigerian gonads off, park the SUV with propane tanks and a smoke bomb on a New York street and you have us all running around screaming for blood, begging to give our civil rights away and destabilizing the country without the risk of major retaliation and without spending much money. It's just conjecture, of course. I'm just sayin' as the foxy folk say.

  1. Yes, a thwarted terror attack is always good news for Republicans. Meanwhile, an actual terror attack killing 3,000 is GREAT news for Bush/Cheney. I'm sure we'll see Liz Cheney making that very case on the news shows next week.

I don't understand it either. The stupidity of our discourse frustrates and angers me to no end. I feel helpless and powerless and at the same time thankful that there are people who don't let fear rule their heads.

  2. Beware of False Flags.

    Be afraid, be very afraid.

They have proven that the fear card works.

The American Sheeple have long ago chosen security over their freedoms.

I expect Bush/Lite [Obama] to start using, "we need to fight them over there, so we do not have to fight them over here."

It worked before, it will work again.

  3. "Reality Zone"? More like "Alex Jones's Imaginationland."

There's no false flag here and Michelle Malkin, NOT the president, would be the one trying to invoke the fight-or-flight reflex in America. She's already doing it.

I love the false equivalency with Obama and "Bush/Lite," too. You live in such an interesting universe! Fortunately, those of us who live in THIS universe are quite aware of the vast differences between the two and aren't confused by your reports from that paranoid universe in which "THEY" ARE ALL IN IT TOGETHER OMG!!!

  4. Capt. Fogg,

You spin out those conspiracy theories so well that one of these days, you'll get yourself believing in one of 'em. Pakistani agents behind Barack Obama's college education. I like it! It's a heck of a lot more exciting than the old saw about college professors all being "pointy-headed Marxists."

  5. To be fair, some are egg headed Marxists or duck billed Trotzkyites.

I didn't make up the bit about Pakistani's financing his education. It was standard fare last Winter when it was pointed out that he had had a Pakistani friend in college and had once visited him while on a trip he couldn't have afforded (because he's black) without help from terrorist recruiters. Of course he couldn't have gone to Columbia or Harvard without there help either (because he's black)

But it's funny how Obama can be a ultrafarleft liberal socialist and Bush lite at the same time, isn't it? What a world of endless possibilities we live in!

  7. I rather suspect that my bio might differ from what others thought of me when I was in college. You're damn right there are things I'd leave out!

Of course everyone's memoirs are apologies - Laura Bush says that the reason she killed that young man was that the stop sign was too small, her husband doesn't seem to recall going AWOL -- and of course I didn't inhale either.

I guess that and the fact that I'm real good with chopsticks makes me the Manchurian Candidate too.
