  1. I hate to just quote commentary from the web...

But Romney was so fucking dickly! No one has said it more eloquently than this loving blogmeister

  2. Scott is a great American! He took some huge risks to bring the truth to the electorate. Caught podcast of Ed.

  3. wow the smoking gun! FYI Romney Lost the election...next.
of course that 47% comment was somewhat true. Always taking things out of context and twisting it. The dems care so much about the people that so many more of them are struggling to get by now.

    1. “wow the smoking gun,” Lisa says (with sarcasm).
“somewhat true,” she says (please note euphemism).

Oh goodie. A partisan troll with whom we can have a real argument. There is no “somewhat true” about words when they are spoken by the horse’s ass himself. Offensive as the “47%” comment was when taken in isolation, another Romney remark was even more outrageous. Perhaps you missed this one:

Earlier in the recording, Romney recalls his days at Bain Capital when he was off-shoring American manufacturing jobs to slave labor camps in China. He recalls a sweatshop factory where girls were housed “12 to a room” stacked like poker chips and “10 rooms to a bathroom” - the entire labor complex surrounded by barbed wire.

Human beings reduced to cattle, unencumbered by occupational safety standards or unions or human rights – pre-packaged and ready for exploitation – for the self-aggrandizement of vulture venture capitalists. This is the ultimate wet dream of Romney and his cohorts – making millions off the sweat of young girls – 18 to 21 years of age earning mere pennies per hour.

Within this context, the “47%” comment is even more offensive: Romney demonstrates the same callous disregard for American workers - the “47% who think they are entitled to food, healthcare, and housing,” to paraphrase his words. In the lexicon of the GOP, the word “entitlement” has been turned into a dirty word as if “life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness” has come to mean nothing. This is revisionist history of the worst kind.

Unbelievable – these words from a man who aspired to the presidency! Unbelievable - the depths of his moral depravity!

  4. "of course that 47% comment was somewhat true."

"Somewhat true" is a euphemism for false. Of course the next statement: "so many more of them are struggling to get by now" is also a twisted, out of context lie. Seems as though what you're doing is struggling to sound like your bullshit Republican scam hasn't bombed. It has.

  5. 2 and 2 are three is a somewhat true statement. To say that more people are struggling now without reference to an initial point is one element of a double barreled fallacy. The other, implied falsehood is that the recession is the result of Democratic policies is more than a fallacy, it's a damned lie with no factual support.

the logical conclusion is that Lisa is a liar for hire employee of Fox News, something suggested by her blog. And then, anything I say about her is a somewhat true statement and so immune from refutation -- right?

    1. According to Lisa, there are 3 kinds of human rights: Those who deserve rights, and those who don't.

  6. And more than somewhat true is that our friend here loves to use the N word, which is cause sufficient for me to declare fatwah. Now laugh at me for owning guns woncha. Hoist with her own petard or riddled full of lead by the toys her party loves to praise. All the same folks, all the same.

  7. In addition to the "N" word, when I've tried to comment over at her blog, Lisa allows her commenters who answer me to insert porno links into their answers to me. In addition, they linked to a photo of a gorilla in reference to Michelle Obama. And she lets her commenters refer to me as a "C**T." Lisa has allowed her blog to look like the graffitied walls of a gas station toilet.

Lisa's blog and her commenters are a perfect example of GOP intellectual rigor.

    1. Point of clarification: Did you mean "GOP intellectual rigor" or "GOP intellectual rigor mortis?"

I take back what I said about having a troll to argue with. Some trolls are so bacteria-infested, the contagion can be fatal.

    2. There's no way - no legal way to provide them with their just desserts and this kind of trash will always be with us and it illustrates the theory that any small town in America could furnish as many enthusiasts as Hitler ever needed to do his deeds. As tempting as it is to contemplate humiliating them, or applying buckshot to the affected parts, they've already consigned themselves to oblivion and irrelevance. Without a free venue like this, they'd get no more attention than any of the schizophrenics I've seen on 7th Avenue talking to the demons while people walk around them with averted gazes. Perhaps giving them attention of any kind is a mistake, but I think the best way to deal with this slimy element that hides under the Republican rock is to let them squirm in the daylight, let the stink out where people can smell it, where the Right Wing reek can get all over the conservative suits and power ties and the dignified pretensions. No, not all Republicans are racists or idiots or closet fascists, but. . .

Let a thousand cesspools stink, let there be dog turds on every shoe. It only helps us. These are people with so little virtue they have to depend on racism to find anything worth talking about. That's why they hate Michelle, she and her husband are so obviously superior, it makes their pathetic little lives and attenuated attributes as pathetic and out of place in the modern world as a maggot in your mashed potatoes. Being a giggling and flatulent racist is the only way they can find respect even if it's the respect of losers, misfits and the congenitally stupid.

People ask me why I watch The Walking Dead and every other zombie movie I find, it's because I enjoy identifying the rotting animated corpses who eat human flesh with Lisa and Company -- because I enjoy the notion of blowing off their heads ad libidum. Hell, how can it be a crime if they're already dead?

  8. Thank you for catching that, (O)CT(O). "Rigor mortis" is what I should have written. More apt and clever.
