Randall Terry: “Let a wave of intolerance wash over you. I want you to let a wave of hatred wash over you. Yes, hate is good ... Our goal is a Christian Nation … we have a biblical duty, we are called by God to conquer this country. We don’t want equal time. We don’t want Pluralism. We want theocracy. Theocracy means God rules. I’ve got a hot flash. God rules.”My lips are sealed. So far, so good. Now lets run the video (from a town hall meeting in Reston Virginia earlier this week):
Randall Terry: “When I, or people like me, are running the country, you’d better flee, because we will find you, we will try you, and we’ll execute you. I mean every word of it. I will make it part of my mission to see to it that they are tried and executed.”
If a picture is worth a thousand words, how much is a photomontage worth?
Did I say anything? Consider this an open thread.
Thread? I'd consider it a rope - one with a noose at the end. Nowhere at any time has such hideous evil gone away all by itself.
ReplyDeleteWhat were they chanting? I couldn't catch it?
ReplyDeleteI have coined the term "ZOMBIE OUTRAGE" to describe this phenomenon. These are dead issues that just keep sucking up oxygen and eating the brains of the electorate.
ReplyDeleteIn fact, I'm working on a short story about it.
Squid, I believe they were chanting “Baby Killer, Baby Killer” to the tune of Horst-Wessel-Lied.
ReplyDeleteMatt, I look forward to reading it.
I was egregiously misquoted. My words were twisted, turned upside down, pulled inside out. You guessed it: It came from the fringes.
ReplyDeleteThis is sop for them. I can't count the number of times this has happened to me. And not a few times they use their very favorite friend for argument--the strawman.
I now employ the Barney Frank Cure and refuse to have discussions with diningroom furniture.
Politics aside, Randall Terry's haircut is truly frightening.
ReplyDeleteGiven the events in Mr Terry's personal life as well as his public actions, I'd say he has more than enough hate and intolerance to damage and destroy a multitude, including some of his own children who have already suffered for knowing him.
ReplyDeleteThis hypocritical bastard needs a mirror.
Does he have a reflection?
ReplyDeleteIt's getting hard to see insanity as some sort of aberrant state. Maybe it's the other way around.
