Orly Taitz declares war!

-Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort.-

Article III

Orly Taitz is calling for armed insurrection against the government of the United States. That's right, the same demented creature who's been thrown out of many courts for trying to prove that Barak Obama wasn't born in the United States is advocating that we take up arms against the government of The United States of America.
"Seeing targeted destruction of our economy, our security, dissipation of American jobs, massive corruption in the Government, Congress Department of Justice and Judiciary, it might be time to start rallies and protests using our second amendment right to bare arms and organise in militias."
Seems to me she her best defense is insanity, since anyone seeing targeted destruction of the economy by those who appear to have saved us from what seemed inevitable destruction wrought by George Bush has a good claim to be a nut job. Illiteracy would be equally as demonstrable (bear Vs. bare) but it's hardly a legal defense.

Sure it's easy to laugh. She makes it so easy, after all, but far less laughable are the millions who essentially agree with her that the damage done by borrow, spend and borrow some more economic policies of the Republicans is proof of Democratic malfeasance. I got another one of those "humorous" tracts this morning: Dems don't pay taxes or work and Republicans have to support them. Right.

No, you can't fix stupid and I fear that you really can't fix insane, particularly when it's pandemic. You can however, begin putting traitors in jail.

  1. Yes, the stupidity and hubris of the last decade is what sunk the great ship of the United States...

It is the genius of Karl Rove...hysterics instead of reasoned thought....

  2. This would be considerably funnier if we weren't already awash in fundamentalist crackpots dropping dark hints of terrorist violence. Remember the Psalm 109:8 thing and the occasional muttering about Obama being the Antichrist.

Taitz is throwing more fuel on the fire.

The part about the lovesick law clerk is interesting. It might possibly bring her to her senses if she learns what it's like to be stalked by an irrational, obsessive person. If she's not too far gone.

  3. These kind of nuts have been around since the dawn of man. Every so often (for mysterious reasons) a large number of the populate, believes their garbage.

It's not surprising that the best and brightest (highly educated) believe things so clearly wrong.

When the best and brightest are the ones creating this garbage, and common sense seems to have disappeared, then we are in trouble.

As if 28 years of upside down economics, near bankruptcy because of it, and a History that proves that same economic thinking led us to trouble before, we still have millions who believe we have to go back to those policies.

It's a truism that if you don't remember and learn from History, you are doomed to repeat it.

It's depressing to know that the more highly educated we are, seems the dumber we become.

The mistakes (and the lessons) are clear, but then there is another human truism; human traits like greed, hate, and swelled egos always override good thinking.

But the lessons of personal sins are even older than the lessons of social, or political sins, and we have not learned those lessons, yet, either.

  4. I think that, at least, Taitz's fans hardly represent "the best and the brightest". Most of them give me the impression they have the IQ of livestock.

  5. True, but so many millions believe this garbage. That tells me that supposed intelligent (educated) people believe it also. It's not just ignorant, red neck, school drop outs.

  6. I only wish the worst thing we had to worry about was the likes of Orly Taitz. It's the apparently sane ones, like Newt Gingrich and Dick Cheney, that scare me.

  7. Taitz is appealing a $20,000 fine levied against her for wasting the court's time with the birth nonsense.

  8. I must point out that any blog post about her is incomplete without this image.

  10. Actually e-mails telling us that she's a new Joan of Arc and that the angry courts are going to subpoena Obama over his birth certificate are still circulating. I had on last week.

People believe what they want to believe and they want to believe there's a real reason beyond the color of his face that they hate him.

  11. A pig is often compared with a saint because both are more appreciated in death than they were in life. I would like to say that Orly Taitz might improve her appearance with an apple in her mouth, but I doubt it would improve her in any way.
