As a father who raised three daughters, I feel a solemn obligation to support their rights as free and equal citizens – without Inquisitors violating their privacy, without states restricting their healthcare choices, without legislators asserting control over their bodies, without employers prying into their medical records, without derision, discrimination, sexism, or harassment. Rush Limbaugh blames shrinking penis size on “feminazis”
Earlier today, Rush Limbaugh cited an Italian study that claimed male penis size is now 10% smaller than 50 years ago. According to the study, the incredible shrinking schwantz is caused by environmental factors such as air pollution and global warming. But not according to Rushbo (Credit: Media Matters):

The Right engages in a politics of fear and resentment: they can't win if they admit what they really stand for, which comes down to the wealthy asset-stripping the poor and middle classes, so they appeal to seething resentments, such as some men's feeling that they're getting squeezed out or left behind as women achieve something at least a bit more like equality with each passing decade. Susan Faludi wrote a good book years ago called Backlash, chronicling the feminist movement through its various phases. Nothing can ever be taken for granted; it's two steps forwards, one or two steps back. The current iteration seems more like two steps forwards, five steps back, though. These right-wing bastards in Congress are misogynistic knuckle-draggers, and they deserve to get their comeuppance at the ballot box this November 6th.

(I did not realize how vile and lively is the misogyny of a certain segment of the American population until I started reading the Women and Divorce sections of The Huffington Post. If you have not been there yet, go see for yourself -- but beware, it's not for the faint of heart.)

If the Evangelicals want to prohibit all forms of contraceptions, and a "naked Rushbo" constitutes the most effective form of contraception yet devised, then it stands to reason: The Evangelicals would want to prohibit Rushbo too (quod erat demonstrandum).

My U.S. rep., Cathy McMorris Rogers, is very firm that the so-called war on women is an election-year myth. That assurance was undoubtedly drawn from the same tract as her earlier assurance that House Republicans did too offer job-creation bills.
